In 2026 BucCarNeers Qld adventure is to jump across the fence into New South Wales to chase buried treasure in Lightning Ridge. We start at Caloundra visiting Oakey, Goondiwindi, Lightning Ridge, Texas, Dalby finishing at Mooloolaba. We set sale on Sunday the 13th of September 2026 and finish on Talk Like a Pirate Day 19 September.

Vehicle requirements
Our Buc-Car-Neers come young and old.
2026 Route announcement
A registered vehicle of any age or persuasion. We don't have mechanical support so RACQ is a must. We encourage pirate (or other) themed vehicle.
A UHF radio is also most helpful for communications on the road.
